Joplin
Private notes with sync you control.
New to this? What open source means and how to read this page.
What it is
A note-taking and to-do app with markdown, end-to-end encryption and sync through the cloud service you choose.
Good for
People leaving Evernote who want to keep their notes.
The catch
Some folders have their own license. The design is plainer than Evernote, and syncing needs a service such as Dropbox or Nextcloud.
